 Flaherty Performance Horses takes great pride is helping amateurs at all levels to become the best riders they can be. They are serious about their training program, but they realize that Non Pros are in the sport to have fun and enjoy their horses. They have proven that they can train horses and riders to be competitive at all levels of performance events...and still have fun!  So whether your  a seasoned non pro or new into performance horses they will tailor a program to suit your experience level.

Flaherty Performance Horses believes that practice makes perfect!  Their non pro program is specialized to not only teach you how to show but to be confident in your riding ability.  You will notice that each step of the learning process builds on the previous one. As you work through the steps to become more proficient  you will develop skills that will be of use to you later in your horse and show career. Join their training program and prove to yourself and others that you have the patience, ambition, and persistance to succeed.


What You'll Learn To Do:

• Ride and show your horse to the best of your ability.

• Use a step-by-step process to develop your abilities and your horse's.

• Use proper safety techniques when working with your horse.

• Identify various types of training equipment and how to properly use and care for them.

• Properly care for and maintain your performance horse.

• Develop the proper attitude and understanding required in riding and showing horses.
